We’re going wild in June!! #30 days wild

There is something wild happening for 30 days next month. We are taking part in the 30 days wild challenge by The Wildlife Trusts charity. We will try to do something wild every day for 30 days.

As I stick noodle in his bath tonight, a whole handful of pine needles falls out of his hood all over the bathroom floor. He found a great hiding place when they were playing but he did have to go very low, apparently. The bathroom is a mess, this stuff sticks to everything, but I’m happy. Three hours we were in the woods today and although I was starting to get a bit cold when the sun disappeared, I simply couldn’t bring myself to take him home. I loved how happy he was being completely carefree as only a child can be.

Being outdoors, connecting with nature; it’s something that has become really important to me. It makes me feel alive and adds colour to my life. I want noodle to be able to do what I did in my childhood. We played in the woods, built dens, helped hedgehogs cross the road, counted clover leaves, made daisy chains and so much more. We were connected to nature, nature was all around us.

So this is the aim of our challenge, to stay connected to nature.

If you fancy taking part, it’s not too late to get your pack. You get a wall chart with loads of ideas, stickers and a badge and for my fellow bloggers, if you tell them you want to blog about the challenge, they will send you a free bloggers pack with logos, images and also entry into their blogging awards.
