Thanks for popping by. I’m Kat, I’m German, but I regularly forget because I’ve been living in the UK for so long. I am married to a Brit and a mum to one.
Life on a Seesaw is about many things, and, my goodness, I have rewritten this dozen times. Mainly, though, it is about living with a couple of chronic health conditions and the rollercoaster that this brings.
In this blog, I explore coming to terms with being diagnosed with an incurable disease and declining mobility. I write about trying to find ways to reduce stress and live as healthily as possible.
My big passion is photography. It is something that makes me forget about any stresses or strains going on in my life at the time. When I am focused on taking a photo, I don’t think about anything; I don’t feel any pain or exhaustion. I feel blessed to have found an activity that not only brings me so much joy but also allows me to witness beautiful life moments.
